Family Art Day:
Children and their families are invited to explore the creative world of art with hands-on projects that engage and educate. Activities for each session are inspired by the exhibition in the Arts Benicia gallery as well as seasonal themes. These events are free and open to the public. Family Art Days are offered during most exhibitions throughout the year.

Watercolor Exploration

Family Art Day is creative art-making for all members of the family and is inspired by our current exhibitions. To complement our current exhibition, California Watercolor Association’s 56th International Watercolor Exhibition, families will have the opportunity to experiment with Watercolor Resist Art and Still Life in Watercolor.
Family Art Day is always a free event and is open to the public with no need to pre-register. Art materials are supplied.
Art Exploration:
Art Exploration is a self-guided tour for parents and their children. Arts Benicia provides an observational question guide that encourages art observation and investigation. Art Exploration guides are available during most gallery exhibitions. Appropriate for all ages.
