Each class session lasts four hours. Participants pay for six sessions but have a ten-week block of time from their start date to use the Monday or Saturday sessions to complete projects. Participants may renew and continue throughout the year.
Materials fee: Printmakers supply their own paper, inks, and other supplies as they settle into projects. Beginning students: $30 fee paid to the instructor for the first six sessions.

Age minimum: 18+
Class description: Printmakers work on their own projects using the classroom’s three printing presses. Work in etching, collographs, monotype, planographic prints, photo transfer and other mixed media printmaking processes. An opportunity to develop and produce a body of work through on-going participation in the workshop. Beginners always welcome; instructor Ronna Leon provides assistance and instruction as needed.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Ronna Leon studied printmaking at UCSB’s College of Creative Studies. Raised in a family with a small press and publishing business, she has had a life-long love of graphic arts, ink, and paper. She is experienced teaching monotype, etching, collographic and lithographic techniques. She adds to her own skills with new developments in printmaking which she shares with workshop participants. Her own work has been featured in a variety of small exhibitions within the United States and abroad and she has had a solo show at the Benicia Public Library, Marilyn O’Rourke Gallery. For the past nine years she has directed the Printmaker’s Workshop for Arts Benicia.
