Pamela McCauley at Happy Life Pottery

For Happy Life Pottery, I have created an eight-piece series of mixed media collages. Using pinks, peaches and lavenders, to create a soothing and happy atmosphere.  I couldn’t resist adding a little black for “edginess.”

During the pandemic I focused on creating collages. There was something peaceful about just dealing with shape, color, line, texture, and rhythm, a brief escape from reality.  As we come out of sheltering in place, I notice that my work reflects a happier tone.
