Arts Benicia offers extended hours and days for skilled printmakers at the Printmaking Annex, located at 991 Tyler Street, Ste. 116 in the Benicia Arsenal District. Once approved by the Arts Benicia’s Printmaking Manager and Executive Director, Artists in Residence will have access to the print studio and the equipment listed below. Artists must supply their own inks and printmaking papers.

* KB Press 2’ x 3’
* Large Ettan Press 3’ x 6’
* Small Ettan Press 1’ x 2’
* Proof Press 1’3” x 2’9”
* Letter Press Tabletop Platen Press 8” x 10”
* Book Press 2’ x 1’3”
* Graphic Etching Press 1’6” x 3’8”
* Additional Equipment:
* 6 ft. long tables
* Clean tear table
* Drying Racks
* Large paper cutter
* Various paper cuts and cutting mats Brayers, Palette Knives, Palettes Solar Plate Exposure Box
* Letterpress type, cuts, spacers, etc.
* Various other materials are available for a small fee. For example: Pronto Plates, * * Litho materials, or Plexi Plates
Artist in Residence Open hours:
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 6:00 am – 9:00 pm
Saturday and Monday: 3:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Sunday: 8:00 am – 9:00 pm, if no workshop is in session.
