Class Description: Art Exploration will entertain a theme of “Art and The World Around Us”. We will explore how art connects us to each other and planet earth. Projects in a variety of media are offered in a supportive environment that encourages creativity, problem-solving, and self-expression. All levels of experience are welcome. We are artists!

Lorraine Curtis is a California artist and founder of Art Garage Benicia, has over two decades of experience as a teaching artist, fine artist, graphic designer and illustrator. She attended Academy of Art University, San Francisco, and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Cal East Bay. Lorraine is currently working on her Beautiful People series, a growing body of work of watercolor and mixed-media portraits. “Whether using watercolor, or any variety of media, my intention is to capture the unique essence and beauty of each person.” Lorraine encourages her students to trust their own process and creative journey of self-discovery.
