In 2022 … our 35th year

• 3,496,472 hits on Arts Benicia’s website revealed our reach worldwide
• 60,029 unique visitors used artsbenicia.org to learn about our programs and view exhibitions
• 5,900 square feet in the Commanding Officer’s Quarters became the new home of Arts Benicia

• 3,833 people visited the nine physical exhibitions hosted in the gallery in 2022
• 817 people visited Art of a Community in February 2022, our first exhibition in the new location
• 702 artworks entries were received from 175 artists for I Figure, from which juror Randall Sexton selected 72 for inclusion in the exhibition
• 676 people visited the 35 by 35 exhibition, celebrating Arts Benicia’s 35^th year
• 598 artworks were received as entries for Gems V, from which juror Susan Aulik selected 210 works by 100 different artists
• 536 members of Arts Benicia supported the arts in their communities
• 267 students signed up for adult art education through Arts Benicia, including classes, workshops, figure drawing sessions, and printmaking
• 226 volunteers generously gave their time and resources to Arts Benicia helping with greeting gallery visitors, helping coordinate Family Art Day, and with our January move
• 175 member artists exhibited their work as part of Art of a Community, in February
• 20 volunteers served on Arts Benicia committees and the Board
• 19 art instructors shared their skills by teaching through Arts Benicia
• 18 teaching artists worked with 525 children and teens providing arts education in the public schools
• 14 member-artist exhibitions were displayed through Arts Benicia Presents, featuring 16 artists
• 9 physical exhibitions were produced by Arts Benicia in the galleries, including three in the showcase galleries
• 6 member artists displayed their artwork in four exhibitions at STIIZY through Arts Benicia Presents
• 3 Family Art Day programs were held
• 1 visual arts nonprofit celebrated its 35^th anniversary throughout 2022!
