Class Description: Join Joy Lily in this class and create stunning blue and white patterns on fabric by wrapping, clamping, and tying your small clothing items, and linens with pre-reduced indigo. Learn to make this simple magical dye vat. Then after dipping into the indigo, watch your work turn blue in the air. Then unwrap it to reveal the patterns.
Materials: Bring several items to dye: socks, t-shirts, napkins, pillowcases, or other small white natural fiber pieces. Practice fabric will be provided. Wear old clothes.
