Michelle Headstrom at Gallery 216, Estey Real Estate

Michelle Headstrom at Gallery 216, Estey Real Estate

April 21 – July 21, 2018
Artist reception: Friday, June 8, 2018, 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Jeff Tover, Curator

Working with acrylic and mixed media, Headstrom’s works are abstract and often utilize collage techniques.

“There is a history that starts with the first mark on a blank canvas.  Creating for me is a solitary and introspective act.  Each of my paintings has a story, an essence and character of its own. I work without a plan. Each brushstroke, collage piece or mark informs the next until the painting comes to a place of symmetry and balance.  I hope anyone who sees my work will be intrigued enough to take a closer look.” — Michelle Headstrom
