Each year the community of artists and artisans in the City of Benicia welcome visitors to experience an Open Studios event the first weekend of May. This year Open Studios will take place on Saturday and Sunday, May 3 and 4 from 10:00 – 5:00 pm. Over seventy studios are open to the public for those two days, and visitors are afforded a rare opportunity to talk personally with artists whose work they admire and to see their favorite – or soon-to-be favorite – artists at work.

OPEN STUDIOS WEEKEND
Visit studios throughout the arsenal and downtown. Watch printmaking and Plein air painting in process at Arts Benicia’s classroom studio and outdoors in the arsenal. Arsenal studios are within easy walking distance of Arts Benicia. Visit Benicia’s famous glassblowers. Food and drink will be available on site in the arsenal. Parking and admission are free.
