Renny Pritikin, Juror
“The eye is always caught by light, but shadows have more to say.” — Gregory Maguire
The use of shadow in artwork can add depth and realism, suggest mystery and illusion, or create patterns and abstract imagery. Arts Benicia, a non-profit art center in Benicia, CA, invites artists to submit works in which shadow plays a dominant role.
Public Reception: Saturday, September 23, 4 – 6 pm
