Ways of Giving

Arts Benicia is supported by membership, individual donations, grants and sponsorships, and fundraising events. There is no admission charge to see exhibits, and docent-led tours are free to the public. Learn more about membership.

Membership

Members sustain Arts Benicia and make it possible to continue our 36+ year history of enriching our community through the visual arts. Your membership supports a wide variety of rich arts programming that includes classes for children and adults, Family Art Days, and a full calendar of exhibitions in our gallery and local businesses. Individual Donations

Corporate Sponsorships

It is with the support of local and regional businesses that Arts Benicia is able to play an important role in the community. Corporate, local business or individual sponsors can make a significant impact in supporting an exhibition, artist residency, event or program. These partnerships enable us to sustain and expand educational programs for children, teens, and adults where they engage with art, develop their own creativity, and build lasting relationships and skill sets.

Corporate Matching Gift Programs

To encourage philanthropy and support their communities, many companies have programs through which they will “match” the charitable contributions made by their employees. Through corporate gift matching, your employer can multiply your gift to Arts Benicia, making it go further.

Check with your company to see if they offer gift matching. (If they don’t, you may want to ask your company to start one.) If your employer does offer this program, they can provide you with a matching gift form to send to the Arts Benicia along with your donation.

Gifts of Stock and Securities

Arts Benicia welcomes gifts of stock and securities. In most cases, gifts of stock or securities can be made through a simple transfer of assets between financial services firms. Often, a gift of stock brings the donor greater tax savings than a cash gift. You avoid paying capital gains taxes on the donated stock and receive a charitable deduction for its full fair market value. Planned Giving

Remembering Arts Benicia in your estate planning is an easy way to make a lasting contribution. You may wish to consider a gift to Arts Benicia through a bequest in your will, life insurance policy, retirement assets or charitable annuity trust. In-kind Donations

Another way to give without any out-of-pocket expense is to make a tax-deductible in-kind donation of goods or services. Arts Benicia relies on generous donations of time and practical service to support its programs and we welcome your participation.
