Jean Purnell joined Arts Benicia as Development Associate in April 2017 after serving as a volunteer. She moved to Benicia in 2013 after a career at University of the Pacific where she served as Dean of the Library, Associate Provost, Executive Assistant to the President and Associate Vice President for Development. With support from the friendly artist community in Benicia, she has taken up painting.
