Class description: In six, three-hour sessions, students will learn both the traditional methods and digital techniques for creating murals. Students will have an opportunity to design their own mural using modern materials and techniques. Students will also learn about the planning process, acquiring city permits, dealing and presenting your ideas to clients, and preparing budgets. All materials will be provided. Students will paint using acrylic sample mural panels and learn about installation.

Miro Salazar has 30 years experience in commercial illustration and graphic design. He has designed and installed murals in Vallejo, Fairfield, and Suisun City. Miro has a Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts, Major in Advertising, College of Music and Fine Arts, Manila, Philippines.
