Class Description: Where creativity meets environmental consciousness. Inspired by artists like Wyland, known for his breathtaking marine murals, and Courtney Mattison, whose intricate ceramic coral reefs highlight ocean conservation, students will explore the beauty and fragility of our oceans through various artistic mediums. Participants will use recycled materials, watercolors, and clay to craft their own underwater scenes, learning how art can not only capture the enchanting mysteries of the sea but also serve as a powerful tool for raising awareness about the importance of protecting our marine ecosystems.
