Description: Come join this month’s Letter Writing Club Social Free event at Arts Benicia in the historic Arsenal District. It’s never too late to send a letter to someone special for Letter Writing Month. New visitors get a stamp for their first letter, and there will also be a special give away!
Writing supplies will be available, and feel free to explore the art galleries and
outdoor lawn in the Historical Arsenal.
What we recommend to bring: postage stamps (you can also buy from Oriana or others) and mailing address(es) for your letters.
Reservations are recommended, not required. Register online by sending an email with your name and number of persons attending to peg@artsbenicia.org
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORS
The Letter Writing Club was first established by Lina Gomez in Vallejo, CA in 2014. The club connects local & international pen pals while providing monthly writing socials for its local members. For more information, follow @letter_writing_club on Instagram
Oriana Havlicek-Allen, @ravenwritingpost on Instagram, a relatively new
Benicia resident, has been writing letters for over 10 years. She enjoys the art
of the hand written letter, calligraphy, and upcycling paper media with a
morbid twist. Other interests include making paper, bookbinding, and
lithograph printing.
