Class description: Pose lengths: Figure Drawing sessions normally consist of short, warm up, dynamic poses, usually 2 to 5 minutes, then 10 minute poses, and finally 20 minute long poses. Models get a 5 minute break after every 20 minutes of posing. It is possible to have a full session, 3 hour pose, if requested and agreed upon beforehand by all attendees.
Models: Models are contracted through the BAMG (Bay Area Models Guild). Absolutely NO photos of our models will be allowed.
Art Materials: Beyond typical drawing materials, using paints is also acceptable but if you intend to use oils you may only use an odorless solvent, such as Gamsol.
Clean Up: Attendees are expected to clean up after each session, putting away drawing horses, easels, stools, and chairs. What you bring in with you, please pack out.
Vaccination Status: All participants must be vaccinated. This includes attendees and models. Models may be unmasked. All attendees must wear masks (subject to change).
