Class Description: The process of a self-portrait can be a means of self-reflection, self-awareness, and self-acceptance. It can be a selfie capturing a moment of you in time. It can be a fun exploration in art-making, with you as the subject. In this 5-week class, we will create self-portraits in a variety of media and contexts, including altered photos, sculpture, mask-making, collage, and journaling. The elements of art (line, shape, form, texture, value) will be discussed within the context of our projects.
Choose from the Arts Benicia Member/Non-Member pricing below to pay for the session. All participants must also register. The link will be sent upon check-out.
