Opening Reception: Sunday, March 9, 3:00-5:00 PM
Family Art Day: Sunday, March 16, 1:00-3:00 PM Free & Open to the Public
Recycled Book Making Class: March 30, 1-4 pm, 6th-12th grade.
Arts Benicia is proud to present the creative talents of the Next Generation of artists with this exhibition created specifically for Benicia students. Student artwork ranging from kindergarteners through high school seniors will be displayed in this diverse presentation of creative expression. During the entire month of March, student artists from all Benicia schools, afterschool and private art education programs will exhibit their work at Arts Benicia.
Next Generation is an annual celebration of youthful creativity and is an exciting venture for both students and their families as they see their work exhibited in a professional gallery setting. Students gain more of an artistic self-awareness and experience broader community support for their creativity. This exhibit is a grand collaborative effort between educational leaders in our community, their students, families and Arts Benicia. We are excited to present this year’s Next Generation.
